How to Wear Perfume in the Summer Heat

Summer is a joyful time of sun, fun, and sometimes intensely warm weather.   

Since fragrances love warm weather, it lasts longer and emanates more than the same amount of fragrance on a cool Winter or Fall day.  So how do you know how much fragrance to wear in the summer and how to apply fragrance in the Summer?  We have easy “How to Wear summer fragrance” ideas for you.  Perfect! 

Easy Summer Daytime Fragrance How-To’s: 

Spritz your brush or comb 3 times with your favourite Michel Germain fragrance.  Run the brush or comb through your hair as you get ready for your day.  Every time you swish your hair, you will smell your gorgeous summer scent. 

After you shower and before you dress, spritz your Michel Germain signature scent in the air 3-4 times.  Walk through the mist of scent as it falls around you.  

Apply your summer fragrance to your wrists and ankles during the day, add more to your midriff at night.  Skip spritzing your neck as it may radiate upward, directly to your nose in the summer heat.  Great for Fall and Winter, but in the warmth of, you might want to skip this step as it may not be needed. 

If your lingerie is washable (as opposed to dry clean only) and not made from fine fabrics, such as silk, you may want to try spritzing one of those in an inconspicuous area first.  If you find out it doesn’t stain or the fragrance easily washes out, you are good to go and you may spritz your lingerie to have that “je ne sais quoi” summery Parisian feel.
